Ravenous Beast

Working on some pieces for the comic con, and an illustration portfolio as of late. I've been rather moody in the last months and I try to come to grips with my feelings through my work, I felt like I was about to lose myself on several occasions, not able to achieve a feeling of contentedness no matter how hard I tried and then there was the anxiety that came in like an unstoppable wave plowing this way and that with a relentless sadistic abandon, silencing me unable to speak out, like a drowning bird, .... then, I came to my senses and I felt alive again like I could do anything and say all that is in my heart and soul and I screamed and yelled with all I had in me and I finally felt content!
I can't no matter how hard I try to stay composed and behave normally because the more I try the more I feel like I bury myself in a deep hole and then everything feels like tearing itself out with all the more fury! Pot helped... booze helped as well!
I felt like I broke out of a hard encasing shell bent on containing all that was alive in me, but there are still many pieces to break away, I'll break it till I'm completely free. I feel more at ease now though... I feel like I can give in to any pleasure wherever I find it, I don't care.
But somehow... there is still something that shines, something worth holding on to.

Anyway, just some illustrations and sketches that I want to turn into illustrations, the one with the wolf is of Odin and Fenrir. I wanted to make the wolf into something elemental, a darkness that swallows everything greedily without mercy.
